Is it normal to talk/joke about someone's crotch you have never seen?

So I'm 31 years old and 10 years ago I used to live next to a 60 or so year old guy. Ever since I can remember I have liked to joke about this guy's crotch. He is a really unkempt guy with a long scroungy looking beard. The type of guy that hardly ever showers and smells really bad... I have always made jokes about his crotch. I have never seen his crotch and I have never had a desire to see his crotch and I'm straight A's can be, but every time I think about it I just laugh hysterically. Some friends of mine and I joke about his crotch all the time and talk about sniffing it or holding it or if it is sweaty or if he rubs catfishes all over his crotch and things like that. We send pictures back and forth joking around about this guy's crotch whom I have not seen in over 7 years and they have never met. Is this behavior harmful? I have told someone who thought this was very disturbing and told me I need help but I find it funny to joke about.

    Hey, I am still looking for help on this issue. If anyone can give me some feedback it would be much appreciated. Oh by the way, I wonder what that guy's crotch is doing right now.......

    It sounds like you are most likely homosexual but just don't want to admit it and you tell jokes like that to demean people and make yourself feel better.
