Is it normal to take many pictures of yourself and edit that one?

Okay so I know the question up there is vague, but let me explain!! Everytime I update my facebook profile picture, I always have to take a series of around 10 photos before even remotely liking one of them. Then, when I choose "the one", I even filter it and edit it a bit....I keep it natural, but it is probably obvious that it was edited. So.....is it normal to be very picky about a profile picture??

    Don't edit your photos. If people find out they're going to see you as self-conscious and superficial. Not everyone is a supermodel and not every picture of you is going to look like it was staged professionally. Show them all proudly.

    guys will be more attracted to a non edited no fake smile no cleavage photo.

      I find it funny you're assuming OP is a girl who is concerned about appearing attractive to guys on FB.

      I know plenty of vain guys who are very self-conscious about their FB pictures.

      Also, liking a picture of yourself isn't necessarily based on how attractive it might be to the opposite sex.
