Is it normal to take it back

I've been with my man for 8 years & have 2 kids. 4 years ago he proposed only to take it back 2 months later. I've been waiting ever since. We have talked about it and he says we will, but what do I do? Is it normal to ask, take it back and not ask again?

    That is not something you "take back", if he wasnt ready he never should have asked!!! Id have a serious talk with him, & ask questions like "where exactly do you see yourself in a couple years, 5 years, 10 years"...etc. If hes not ready to make some short & long term goals towards your future together, then you need to reconsider your relationship.

    no. this is very strange :( maybe he thinks you're not ready, or he thinks himself is not ready.
