Is it normal to take clothes from the lost and found?

I often will notice cute hoodies sitting in the lost-and-found for months, so one day I decided that after a while, I was just gonna take the ones I like.
I usually wait around a month before taking them, and I only do it with sweatshirts and hoodies.

    I used to know someone who would go to Lost & Found at the railway station if she needed an umbrella and say she'd lost a black umbrella: there were always heaps of them there and as far as I know she never bought one.

    It's fairly normal. Sure a cute hoodie or a nice scarf that's been there a while is ok but if you can buy your own clothes then you should probably stop.

    To be honest, if I saw an awesome piece of clothing in the lost in found at my school back in the day I would probably take it and then wash it three times.

      Work?? I thought this kid was talking about at school. At least, that's the only place I've ever seen lost-and-founds.

        I guess there are lots of places that have lost and found. I'm relatively sure that any place where people lose stuff will have a lost and found.
