Is it normal to sync music with life

Whenever I'm listening to music while driving in a car, I hope for certain beats, riffs, etc. to happen when the car is between two signs, poles, reflector poles, or marks on the road. Sometimes I see how many I can get in a row, and I imagine it decides my fate for something specific, like my average killstreak in a game of Black Ops or something else like that. IIN?
