    Take advantage of the situation!!!

Reek so badly you drive others away.

Never wait in a line again.

You probably suffer from hyperhydrosis. There are different forms: underarms, palms, feet and face. I have this condition as well and it's not fun at all! I found that Drysol works pretty well. It is a roll-on antiperspirant. It is only available by perscription so you will have to go to the doctor, however you can go to amazon and buy some there through a Canadian store (because it is over-the-counter in Canada).
There is also a machine called ionphrosis(?? I think I spelled it wrong). I have this machine and it works really well. You put your hands or feet into two pans of water, or soak underarm pads in water and out them under your arms. You then will turn on the machine and it will send a low electrical current through the water to your skin. They are not quite sure how it works, but it is thought to "plug" your sweat glands. This works for me fairly well. I use it along with Drysol a couple times a week. When I get nervous or excited, I will still sweat, but not nearly as bad as when I don't use them.
    Hope this helps!

Everything the poster above said is right on the money but I will add one thing. Try Certain Dri. It used to be prescription only years ago but it works nicely. It stings for a bit but should stop the sweat for 72 hours. Its just a clear liquid that doesn't contain any of the "cream like" ingredients other clinical deodorants have that can actually make you sweat.

sounds like that Certain Dri may be the same as dri-chlore, maybe changed the name or something

It's perfectly normal to sweat, everyone sweats to some degree but when it's a rediculous amount, like i used to, then no, that's not normal! Like you, i tried everything and nothing worked which resulted in me having an opperation called 'Hydrochlothoric sympathectomy', something like that anyway and do not have a clue if i have spelt it right by the way! But undergoing this op can lead to many side affects as it's not only the underarm it treats. A nerve is simply snipped in the back which cuts off sweat glands leading to underarm and hands, but also treats hot flushes in the face! Before having the op you will be warned that perminant damage to an eye can be caused (1 may slighty slant) but this is very unlikely! If you dont want to chance this then there are other options i was advised before having op:

    1) An underarm treatment called 'Dri-chlore' - stings but does work! Or,

    2) Botox! This isn't only used for preventing wrinkles on celebrities or getting plump lips, its also used to control over-reactive sweat glands! They simply inject it straight into the underarm - again, painful but does work!
I personally found the Dri-Chlore a better treatment out of the 2, which only led to an improvement for me, hence why i had to go on to having op, but it might be the full answer/cure for you!
Hope this has helped? I'm a girl also btw :)

HulaHoop- If I read you post correct, you had the ETS surgery done to stop your sweating? I have researched it in the past and heard horror stories. Do you have compensatory sweating? I'm just curious as to how it turned out for you.
