Is it normal to support a scottish football team?

Hi,

I'm a Londoner, and all my life, ever since a small boy, don't ask me why, but have always had a big love for Rangers Football Club. Am i though, supposed to follow a typical London club like bland old Chelsea or Fulham just because i was born and raised in Hammersmith? I don't know customs in Scotland and what is frowned upon, but i hope that an Englishman is allowed to have his heart somewhere in Scottish football.

Ecstatic! I lost my voice for two days because I'd been cheering so much. Bit disappointed with last night's result, though. Blah!

The Scottish play football? I bet things get a bit violent, I mean when there's terrorist attacks anywhere people scream and run, the Scotish run up to the terrorists and beat the crap out of them, oh I love the Scottish!

I'm from Manchester but support Liverpool. That's almost sacrilege but when you pick your team (as I did aged six), you stick with them. I do keep my eye on Celtic too as I'm up in Scotland as often as I possibly can be.

I was born and raised in Canada, but when it comes to baseball, I never go with the Blue Jays (the only Canadian team). It is The Boston Red Sox all the way!

Its not normal but go ahead and root for whatever team you like. Who cares if its not normal, dont stop liking the team just because no one else does. "normal" just means 50% or more of some people do something one way and the others do it the other way. Hope your team does good!

If you think being a Londoner and supporting Rangers seems unusual, you should know what an international fan base they have. I live in America, and I know for a fact that there's supporter's clubs for Rangers over here... I have some feelings for them, myself, since Claudio Reyna was a former player of theirs, and Rangers currently have Maurice Edu.
