Is it normal to suffer from effects of anesthisia

hello.my wife had 6 surgeries in a three year peroid and is now suffering from the anesthisia she was given each time.she cannot focus most of the time,she gets depressed,she has great trouble just doing everyday tasks.she takes a whole day two to write a three paragraph letter.she was never like this before.Are there others suffering from multiple surgeries?help please!

    It's not uncommon to have a bad reaction to anesthesia. Some people may wake up psychotic, or hallucinating, or incredibly confused. However, permanent effects are quite rare except in the elderly. In younger people the effects typically wear off within a few days.

  • My grandfather's sister had a heart attack and died because of a wrong prescription, so I know how it is for you. I didn't personally know her though, but still.
