im a 22 year old girl and i suck my thumb, and im not talking about sucking my thumb before i go to sleep.
i mean all the time, watching a film, sitting at the computer.
i also have a blanket with a silky bit on the sides which i rub against my lip.
am i normal?

Absolutely not. Otherwise you'd see other ppl doing it. Do you do it in public? Then Its not normal and probably has and is fucking up your teeth, try putting nail polish remover on your thumb or a sick to stop
Seeing "other ppl doing it" isn't a reliable way of determining if something is normal or not. For instance, most every adult engages in sex but you don't usually see that, do you? Same can be said about masturbation, walking around naked, nose picking (rarely seen in adults but engaged in lots of times otherwise) and so forth.
And, when it comes to thumb sucking, most adults are very successful at hiding it.
