Is it normal to suck at everything?

I feel inferior to everyone. I suck at: drawing(I can't even draw a straight line), writing, video games, anything that requires creativity (I have zero creativity, I swear.), anything school related, skateboarding, talking to people, everything... It seems like EVERYONE is better than me at everything and they make everything look so easy.

I would like to learn a musical instrument, maybe the guitar or something. But I have pretty bad social anxiety and terrified people will hear me trying to play and laugh/judge me. I also have small, weak hands and I'm naturally uncoordinated, so I haven't even bothered trying to learn an instrument. It's like why try when I already know I'll fail...

Am I just naturally inferior and untalented or...?

Fuck it man! Don't give a flying fuck, of what people are going to think. Your life - your rules.
You wanna' play the guitar? Go ahead!
You wanna' become an athlete Go for it!
You wanna' drive a burning car off the Eifel tower in a massive and dangerous (yet very cool) stunt. Do it!

If someone critisizes you, tell them to take a look of themselves. Then tell them to make like a bee and buzz off!

Be a man and do something with your life!

Found this site on an off chance and signed up just to tell you this:

A lot of people feel this way, its not just yourself. If anything i think you lack, its self confidence. Why do you suck at anything? Because you tried it once or twice? If you really have a passion for something, put in the hard work to get better at it, and it WILL come. If you're not creative enough, find sources of creativity, mash things up in your mind etc.

But please, don't feel inferior. You're not. Whatever it is you have a talent for, you ain't found it yet, no shame man. Chin up, because if you give up from feeling like this, the only thing you'll succeed at, is failing! :)

There are some people who are born with a gift from God it seems that enables them to become prodigies at a young age but these people are very small compared to most. Most started off as a beginner and worked hard every day and slowly but surely, skill just fell into place. Not-so-important-but-on-topic-examples:

Any fighting game I've played online, I'll get it, practice a little, go online and get freakin' stomped. Then I go and look at more guides and have days of practice for straight hours, go online and use said combos, get better, repeat repeat, then suddenly I've gotten very good and I get compliments. Guitar Hero, Stepmania? One day I said "Man those people are playing the hard difficulties so easily, I want to try", so I got the games, could only play slow and easy songs but in 3 months, I was playing exactly like the pros on Youtube because I played every darn day. I look back on the songs I used to never pass and think "Wow, I had so much trouble on this.." and perfect the thing. Now the only songs that excite me are the difficult ones.

The only reason anyone makes something look easy is because what you're seeing is the result of a long time worth of mistakes and hard work. They didn't do it in a day and it won't be that way for you but you can do it, just don't defeat yourself before you even try and the rewards will come later.

Have you actually tried EVERYTHING there is to do in life?
It doesn't sound like it to me, from your post. You also sound pretty young.
If it is just a matter of application, the military kinda forces you to be good at what you do, though I don't think it's a great choice.
There is so much out there that you haven't even thought of to try; so be patient and in time you will find your niche.

I think this is the reason why you "suck" at everything. Not trying is already failing.

Nobody's perfect! Its okay to make mistakes!! If we wouldnt make mistakes the world would be nowhere some of us wouldnt even live if it wasnt for "mistakes"

well your post was quite well written, so to be honest I don't think you suck at everything. I think there is always a danger when you compare yourself to others, some people are naturally gifted at things you can only aspire to. Some people are talented at more minor things, that don't get so much attention, but are still skilled in their own right. I'm sure you have these attributes that you can discover. The first step is believing in yourself.

Not everyone will be able to do something well on the first, second, or even 38th try. Da Vinci might have been dyslexic, but that didn't prevent him from learning to read and write (and eventually, write backwards with one hand while drawing with the other). Nobody is born dancing; first you lay on your back and cry, then you crawl, then stumble, walk, run, and finally dance. You aren't guaranteed to be born a Mozart, but you are guaranteed that with practice, anything you do can be improved, even if you fail to reach godlike levels. Don't compare yourself to others. Simply be the best you can be and never make the mistake of believing that you know everything there is to know about yourself or whatever subject comes to mind; in doing so, you will only hold yourself back from realizing further possibilities. Don't be afraid to suck; if you don't subject yourself to adversity, how will you know your own strength?

Ask yourself what are you good at. Not like SKILLS try to look for abilities. I have unbelivable high EQ (Emotional quotient) And I can say how exactly people feel or what they are just by looking at them. I suck at writing, drawing, sports, just like you, except I am pro in video games cuz Imma fukin 8 yurs ol nub camping in a warehouse.

You do not suck, you might know something others don't. Don't give up and do what you would really like to do.

Grammar nazis sorry for spell shit Imma fucking lazy to use spell checker and check my grammar so please go finger yourself in the corner.

Also, remember that your insecurities and lack of belief in yourself only limits your mind. You need to think positive in order to be able to fully open your mind to any opoortunities that come your way.

It is quite normal to find oneself average or even mediocre. To think little of oneself. Of course there are people who think very highly of themselves, I'm sure we all know the kind. But there are far more people in the world that constantly belittle and look down upon themselves.

It is "normal", but it isn't healthy. A good self image is important to one's wellbeing and sense of self worth. I realise that it's hard for some people to think positively about themselves, but everyone is special in one way or another. Whether you have a great personality or play piano very well, doesn't matter. EVERYONE is good at something. Every human being is worth something (well, except for criminal scum).

I used to look at myself the same way as you, OP. Hell, I still do sometimes. But now, thanks to therapy and good friends, I am not afraid to admit that I am a good person. I don't have any specific talents, but I am a caring, empathic, kind person and I pride myself on that. It's not much to be proud of, but it makes me feel better about myself. You don't have to have a musical talent or be an athlete to feel like you can accomplish something in life. Just find something you're interested in (everyone has something) and practice that interest and become good at it.

Take me, for example. I suck at sports, math, instruments, fashion, cooking, etc. But I love biking and even though it is not something I need to be good at, I just love doing it. It makes me feel good. I am also good at thinking logical and I am good with emotions and talking to people, languages, computers and animals.

You can find something too, OP. I know it. Everyone is unique. The best of look to you.

Then you would in fact be the best person in the world at sucking at everything and being inferior.
