Is it normal to struggle to get over someone who you love?

i have been best friends with this boy for about two years now we were really close and got on really well. I have helped him out all the time no matter what and been there for him, i fell in love with him and i slept with him when he was single. It was fine after and we were still best friends and got on well and then he got into debt so i helped him out with money and now i just feel used. Through the two years he has got back with his ex and then ended and they have been on and off. Everytime i have been dropped when its all good for him and he will come back when he needs help. I fell in ove with him and i feel so used and upset with everything that has happenend. he says he wants to be friends again and for the last six months we have tried to go back to being friends. How can i move on from this? is it possible to be friends again?

    Ugh it would be hard to be friends again after that. He doesn't even sound like a true friend. You're just a convenience for him for money and sex. You really need to have more respect for yourself than that.

    If you want to get over a past love then distance yourself from them. Don't let him use you and don't let yourself be used. Stand up for yourself.
