Is it normal to stop liking someone when they start liking you

Is it weird that when the person that I like starts liking me I start not liking them as much? It's just like a turn off to me. I like it when they don't know and it's like a secret and like theirs something between us that were missing. I mean sometimes I got over it and went out with them because I really liked them and the relationship went amazingly. It also turns out that basically like every single person I like turns out to like me too. Don't get me wrong I don't stop liking them completely, it just changes a little.
