    I stir stuff with a butter knife. My dad projected this "strangeness" upon me. Wouldn't use my finger though. That's just crazy talk. ;)

    No.
    Nothing dissolves the sugar quicker than a spoon. ...except for an electric mixer.

    ...and if it doesn't have sugar, I don't bother stirring.

    Umm ouch! Doesn't that hurt your finger?? I don't think there is a problem with it. I have one suggestion for you though, you should probably keep to stiring your tea with your finger in your own home behind closed doors.

    I will stir with my finger if I lack a spoon or a butter knife. However, I don't want to do this because I use a lot of sugar and my finger would become sticky.
