I met him more than a year ago. He came into my life and became everything to me. I've had boyfriends before but none like him. We were together for three months then he moved away and he ended it. Ever since he moved, every day I dream of him, as much as I try I can't forget him, I put on a fake smile so people won't notice that I'm not happy at all. I even started dating this guy just cause he reminds me of him. Why can't I forget him? I'm not obsessed cause if I were I would have a shrine to him of stuff like that but no. Why do I still love him? Is this normal?

    You are obsessed if you "dream" of him all the time and its been a year.

    I dont mean this as an insult, I only mention since you specifically said you are not obsessed.

    if he was mean to you or would put you down, like say you're fat, ugly, or that everybody thinks your ugly, etc, then this is a textbook case of when a guy lowers a girl's self esteem on purpose. IT's a common and horrible thing.. if so, you're gonna need therapy and/or a long time to get over it.. Please let me know bcuz i've been there..

    Try establishing a temporary long distance relationship. And that is a very normal contribution.
