basically i went out with this amazing girl andthen after about 8-9 months she broke up with me and i felt fine at the time but now i love her and it hurts to know im not with her. its like the break up has registered in my head but my heart wont listen.
hmm , for me its not years ago but just days , and i know i'll think about it A long long time , shes my sisters bff , she comes here evry day , it hurts like hell but i try to move on even tho my sister says she likes me , but i dont get in a relationship with my ex in such a short while...

It's not entirely healthy, but it IS normal. I had a long-term GF I had several years back and I'll occasionally dream about her instead of my last few exes. Love sucks friend, if you are a teenager, it will get better with time, but even as an adult it can be rough. The key is to get back on the horse and start galloping, pretend it didn't hurt the first time you fell off. It always gets better, and before you know it you may find the next person that has your heart fluttering.
