Is it normal to still like children's music?

I'm 21 years old and sometimes I still like to listen to songs from the children's shows/movies I grew up watching. Stuff like "Dreams to Dream" from Fievel Goes West, "Where Are You Christmas" from the Grinch movie starring Jim Carrey, "Peaceful Valley" from the 2nd Land Before Time movie and "We Are One" from Lion King 2: Simba's Pride. (Don't ask me why I loved sequels so much; my taste in movies back then sucked even worse than it does nowadays.) Anyway, I just love how cheerful songs like that sound, and the innocent subject matter like friendship and believing in your dreams coming true.

So is it normal?

I'm 24 and I still do from time to time. I also work in childcare so I get a few chances to hear them again.

Awww, ya, I feel ya. I love some of the muppets songs. I can't listen to rainbow connection without getting teary. (Its a childhood memory thing.) Puff the magic dragon, it figures I can't think of all the other ones I like. Stupid brain

Nothing beats a bit of Classic Disney (no I do NOT have a CD of it in my car and I know all the words) I think personally it takes me back to being young, care-free and crazy, oh what I'd give to feel like that again!

It's not only normal, it's fine, awesome, and cool. :) I think it's sad that some people stop loving something that's beautiful just because they saw it when they were children. "Growing up" doesn't mean you have to leave the best things behind. In fact, the most 'grown-up' people of all are the ones who are past that stage and have realized that they don't have to. I know grown men my own age who love My Little Pony. And while that show made me grimace even as a child, all I can say is 'more power to them'. :)
