Okay,before i begain this story i don't want anybody to call me a troll or anything,so save your trash comments for later,any who i'm a 18 year-old girl and once in awhile like before I'm going to bed or going out either I come to my dad or he'll come to me and I'll give him a hug and then give him a big kiss on the lips and the cheek,then i'll say good night/good bye to him,is it normal to still kiss your dad?.

    I guess it's normal but I'm not comfortable with it at all. That's because I never kissed anyone in my family even on the cheek. My dad's girlfriend kissed me and I was uncomfortable but I realize it's normal for some families to do it.

    It normal girl! I kiss my dad all the time. We have some great kisses. Since you have such a relationship with him at your age, go a little further each time. You'll enjoy it.

    It is a good thing to continually show your love to your dad. My daughter is 47 and she kisses and hugs me all the time, although she doesn't kiss me on the lips. I don't see anything wrong with it. If she ever stopped the kissing and hugging i would wonder what did i do wrong and did she stop loving me.

    In my family, the boys stopped when we were about three and I think my sister stopped when she hit adolescence. My female cousin still does, though, and she's nearly 22. I don't think there's anything weird about it.

    I don't know, I never kissed or hugged my dad growing up. My family's about as affectionate as a cactus.
    But I would say since your beginning to question it, stick to just cheek kissing or hugs.

    I dont think you there is an age when they should turn around and say 'Stop kissing me, I don't like it.' Because the parents will think that they've done something and offended you.

    I don't and I never did. I'm not a family hugger/kisser. Not that I don't like them, I was just never like that.

    On New Year's eve everybody kiss on the mouth here. Like almost everybody here I think that it depends on your culture

    Ive seen a father that used to kiss his daughter on the lips too.... He loved her a little too much and raped her several times in one day. Then he took her life away. I have also seen a mother make out with her daughter in public when she was going off to college. Some of you people are sick.....

    To kiss your dad on the cheek is normal but o kiss him on the lips absolutely not normal because it is a sexy and lecherous kiss. To kiss your father this way leds to incestual relations believe me.

      Nashwa100. I can say without a shadow of doubt. You are 100 percent WRONG. My daughter, granddaughters all kiss me on the lips. No thought of incest ever. Yes if it is a long slow sensual swapping spit kiss. Then hell ya. It will lead to something more. But not a quick peck.
      So no I will not believe you. It might have happened in your life. To which I am sorry to hear. But not every family thinks that way.
