Is it normal to still have these questions about sex?

I know most of the basics I think. But I'm still quite clueless as to what things are or mean. Can anyone answer these questions for me:

-can you have sex while you've got your period?
-is kissing part of sex?
-what's up with herpes and aids and other types of sex related diseases? (how are they spread, how are they caught in the first place?)
-why do people eat each others cum?
-how safe are condoms?
I understand that foreplay is fooling around before sex and intimacy is pretty much the same thing Am I correct? Also that there are different 'sex moves'?

I think that's it. As you probably guessed, I'm a virgin but I am very close to losing my virginity but I didn't want to do that until I get my facts right. Also, is it normal to not know this? And if you could please answer my questions and if you can control the urge, please do it maturely. Thank you.

    Almost same as above poster but foreplay is up to you. You definetely do not have to eat anything you don't want to lol and make 100% sure your bf/gf does not have any STDs because they can even be spread through oral. Yes u are normal everyone has questions. Oh and about the condom thing... For the most part they are reliable but I would use birth control if possible to be sure you don't get prego :)

    1.) Yes, but it's messy so I wouldn't recommend it.
    2.) Depends on the situation.
    3.) You get them through unprotected sex.
    4.) They get turned on by doing this.
    5.) I heard they make a hole in every third one at the factory because otherwise their baby bottle sales would decrease :)

    If you don't know the answers to these questions, then you are not ready for sex.

    You should be asking your doctor these questions, not a bunch of strangers on the Internet.
