Is it normal to still have feelings for the guy who took my virginity

Okay, I lost my virginity about 2 1/2 years ago & I still have deep feelings for the guy who took it even though we no longer are talking nearly as much as we were then, I've been with other guys since him but none of them have had nearly the effect on me that he has. we no longer have sex with each other but whenever I see him walking or talking with another girl I get very upset & emotional which is almost everyday since he's become somewhat of a man whore now -_- ; i always find myself checkin his tweets on twitter whenever im on & get horribly upset at the things I see but I can't help it :(( what should I do ? is this normal ??
