Is it normal to still be single in your early 30s?

I think it's normal, but I want to know who agrees with me. I'm almost 31 years old and still single as of this poll but probably beginning a platonic friendship. I also should mention I was in a rather unofficial relationship when I was a teenager. As of statistics, I have read that not as many people marry in their teens or 20s (or any younger for that matter) as they did before the 21st century.

    Yes. Relationships aren't for everyone. I wish people would stop being so focused on that crap.

    I'm 32 this year and I am single. I've never had a relationship last more than 3 months.

    It's fine. Some people are single for longer periods than you. You just hadn't met someone yet but if that's what you truly want, you'll eventually get it.

    Sometimes people are meant to be in a relationship, sometimes not. If you're happiest or most comfortable single than stay single there's nothing wrong with that

    I'm a 45 year old two time divorcée and in many ways I'm happier single than I ever was when partnered. As far as I'm concerned there's nothing wrong with being single.

    One of the best things you can do for yourself is to not compare yourself to anyone! Hey, at least when you're alone you can know you'll always be in good company.
