I don't think it is normal in the respect that it is the exception and not the rule, but there is no required timeframe in which you must to things. Do, or don't do, whatever you want.

I disagree. You can only wait so long. You should start getting familiar with the opposite sex. Being able to exchange glances, going on dates, should be things you are working towards.

I'm not saying rush off and screw because it's so bad to be a virgin at your age. But if you're lonely you're gonna have to do something about it.

Stop telling these people its normal. Its not normal. Most people have relationships in HS. How is not having any contact with the opposite sex normal when most of the world has?.
