Is it normal to stay up late till like sunrise???

i just came back from afghanistan after 10months straight there. and then kicked out of the army in about 3 weeks.(for smoking hash) i was infantry and on the frontlines.

- i went to the doctors for my sleeping and anxiety issues from the army. he prescribed me xanax and now i have some ativan too.

i have a weed card too cause i live in los angeles, so ill smoke weed maybe once a day..trying to quit.

i get mood swings alot and have anger outbreaks sometimes, probably from the drugs and army.

but everynight since ive came back from the army iv been either staying up very late(while on my meds and above the recommended dosage) i feel like i can just stay up for some reason. i think if i wanted to try i could passout but i dont want too.

any ideas/ advice???

it isent really normal but the reason is you just came from a place were your body was set to a specific time zone so basicly it should clear up after a few days its called jetlag

I'm a night owl but it is ok for my lifestyle as I am a stay at home mom.

It really is important to get your sleep schedule sorted out so you can work etc. Try going to bed at a reasonable time and maybe try to make that a habit.

Um.... Forget about your sleep schedule for now, it seems like you may have more important stuff to work on first.
