Is it normal to stay single at the age of 19?

Okay here goes nothing, this is my FIRST time asking virtually and trust me I never asked this in real life

I am 19 and I am still single. People say that I am smart, beautiful and got lots of talents. picture me as a typical normal art and music student. I am funny and cool to be with says my other friends. I go out sometimes to have fun. Sometimes means once a month haha cuz I stay at home and do random stuffs. Well sometimes I go out if someone Invited me.
I'm a semi-popular girl in college. Meaning most of the people know me by Face not by Name or vice versa.
Anyways.. I have a serious problem. I still dont have a freakin boyfriend until now! no one dared to ask me out or even show initiative. I hang out with my friends and I seem to end up in a group of friends who tend to not care about relationships or more of a childish set of friends.
I have a good relationship with boys as friends, I chat with them, they chat with me... I hang out with them. But theres just this something that makes me feel that this GUY will never date me or even ask me out. which proves me right cause I see them with their new Girlfriends as time goes by.

I have questions..
1. Why is it so easy for others to make guys like them?
2. Why am I still single up to now despite of tons of people telling me I am pretty and Deserve a boyfriend

Ps; I'm not in a hurry to have a boyfriend and guys I'm not desperate or somthin its just weird.

    Friends can wish to be more than just friends also just to ask are you shy about asking them out...

      too shy haha cause of course I'm the girl... I'm not a showy kind of person thou...
      For me, I wanted to see who truly likes me by asking me out before I do :)

    Why do you think it's weird to be 19 and single? I'm 19 and single, so I find this kind of insulting. You're not the only one who feels this way though, so I'll give you some advice.

    Try to make your life as fun as possible. That way, a lot of guys will want to be a part of it.

      its not insulting dear :) I just feel weird why don't i get into a good relationship with someone. I like to know my Guy and be with him YEARS before marriage haha

        There's nothing weird about it. In fact, if not having a boyfriend at 19 years old is the biggest problem you have, you're still a very lucky person :D. Don't expect the man of your dreams to come by just like that.

    Because you never give a chance to any guy that actually likes you to get close to you. Smart girls usually sends interested males directly into the friend zone.

    And usually the guy that is actually interested in you is the guy that is usually around you most of the times, call for advices, talk random things on mess, and usually behaves awkward around you... reminds you of somebody?

      I am a member of a counseling group, so I know who likes me or not. I also know whether He likes another girl or not. Guys who talk to me are those who wants tips so he could Hit on my Friend or anyone I know.
      - Painful for my part but yeah :'(
