Is it normal to starve yourself every now and again?

It's like an addiction.
Everyday i feel like i shouldn't be eating and that i want to loose a lot of weight but most days i end up just binging on whatever i can find and then feel really guilty at the end of the day.
But then sometimes i start to starve myself and go for up to 2 weeks on 0-500cals and loose some weight...
Then it starts from the beginning again.

I'm overweight and would like to loose weight but i can't control myself over the way i eat or think...

Is this normal?

    You should only buy food that taste like shit. Like brossel sprouts and cabbage. Then when you lose control and start binging you won't want to over eat because the food taste bad. Or if you live with someone who has good food like pizza, ice cream, cheesebugers then you should smear dog shit all over the food. That will also keep you from over eating. You can also try geting off your fat ass and exercise. Try having sex for exercise. If you don't have a mate becauuse your so fat get a dog to screw. If you think having sex with animals is werid try digging up a corpse at the grave yard and have sex with it. I read having sex burns 450 calories an hour. If you have sex with a dead person you will probably burn even more because you will have to do all the work. I hope this was helpful. I'll pray for you tonight that god will make you lose weight.

    I don't do that for weeks, but I sometimes do that for a day or so. I would just go for a day with only a breakfast cereal at 6 AM and then average meal of let's say potatoes and a steak at 4 PM. Sometimes there's something really disgusting for lunch like blood sausages, cooked cabbage or spinach paste and I will not eat much of that and then I would just eat mashed potatoes or something. But I don't think doing that for more than 3 days in a row is good for you.

    What you're doing is VERY unhealthy and is not the best way to go about trying to shed some pounds. Starving yourself is not the best way to treat yourself. You should go to a licensed dietitian and have him or her help set up a reasonable plan to help you lose weight. Keep track of what you eat as well. Love every inch of your body. Good luck!

    its normal to feelthat way after such a relationship, because it changes the way you think about everything. your reliant on them for good feelings about yourself, speak to someone about it, and find other people that make you feel good about yourself.

    It's not normal. It's an eating disorder called bulimia, and you need to go to the hospital and get it treated because it's very unhealthy.

      Nope, it's not bulimia.
      Bulimia is when you eat and puke it back up to loose weight. I don't do that.

    You need to take a steady diet, see a professional in this area if you are having a hard time controlling, work out in the gym, NEVER starve yourself, this can make things so much worst because the first time you do it your body goes into a low case of shock and doesnt know what to do, so when you start eating again it will store more fat than usual incase it happends again, if you keep doing this your going to make losing weight harder than it should be
