Is it normal to start conducting when you have had no training?

Do you think its normal when you hear a song like orchestral or band pieces and start conducting even though it may be wrong?
Well When I know there is noone around, and if I really like this piece, I will start conducting it and even though I have never had any special training or classes, I will conduct it in a certain meter I think it is in and then I will "cue" in the instruments I know are coming in the piece, or make dynamic changes. Wierd huh? Is that normal?

    No,this is not weird. This happens if you really,really love music. I should know.Happens to me too. All the time.

    I also like to conduct in my free time. If only I had an orchestra.

    Do you know what all the movements mean and everything? Haha I "conduct" too sometimes, but it's just me gesticulating in a crazy way xD Very fun to do.
