There is this woman I have been dating for nearly 3 months now and I had asked to stare into her eyes because I wanted to see the color of her eyes. I wanted to know if you thought this was normal because she seemed a little uncomfortable but didn't say anything. I do like her "a lot" and have told her many times.
Norms I knew a guy that did this a lot. I didn't notice he was staring into my eyes though because I was too busy talking. We were at a park a few summers ago and he randomly told me I had pretty eyes and then described them to me.
Each time I saw him he had something new to say about them or he just looked at me fondly. I thought it was kind of sweet how much he was paying attention.
The color of her eyes are unique only to you.
Our eyes take in the light but its our brain that deciphers the colors into what you perceive the color to be.
Everyone therefore also has uniqueness in what color they see, and therefore you will never see her eyes in which she knows them to be.
You see in her eyes what she and everyone else doesn't. If her eyes are beautiful then they are only beautiful in your opinion.
You'll never know what she sees in your eyes either.
You basically just don't know anything at all regarding the color of her eyes.

Totally normal. usually in one person there are some focal points for you that you just like to look at. Eyes are very common because they are the windows to the soul as corny as that sounds. I have the exact same thing with my boyfriend. I tell him everyday that he has beautiful eyes and stare at him a lot. He finds it uncomfortable to. But honestly if it were me. I would really like it that I get stared at by the person I love. Feels really nice. And skmetimes I feel like if you don't look at your partner much anymore that might worry that you aremt interested in them anymore. Everytime I am withy boyfriend I always tell him how handsom he is and make sure I makntain eye contact with him and look at him instead of other people or my phone or something.
When people are in love their eyes dilate which means the black part of the eye gets bigger which makes it more difficult to tell what color the eye is.
