Is it normal to stand up and wipe after using the toilet?

i believe people stay seated when they wipe them selves after peeing or whatever but i stand up or i lift my butt of the seat quite a bit to wipe myself, i find it easier and iv been doing it like this since i can remember and only thought about it now.
i think its because i can reach and wipe everything easier that way?

    hmmn...this is kinda funny question, I never really thought about it. I suppose there is no right or wrong way to wipe your ass as long as you get the job done. I guess everybody has their own technique ;p

    My ex husband wipes that way, I find it uncoordinated
