Is it normal to spike koolaid?

I like kool-aid. I used to like it straight-up with nothing mixed in it.

A while back I made some kool-aid and dumped some wine in it. (Before anyone gets upset, I put it in my glass, not the pitcher!)

Now, I have a hard time drinking kool-aid without putting some hooch in it first. It not that it doesn't feel the same, it's more... I can't finish the glass unless it's got some "happy sauce" in it.

Is it normal to like something, but then need to have alcohol in it once you've had it that way?

Sounds like the beginning of alcoholism. If you can't enjoy something without alcohol you have a problem. If it's just the taste why not try putting non-alcoholic wine in it and give it a go?

Kool-aid is very unhealthy. If you're going to drink wine, either drink it straight or choose another type of wine like; cherry, saki (rice wine), blueberry, etc. If you're going for a fusion drink, Irish Creme is a good choice. Health wise, I don't think combining alcohol and coffee is a very good idea because, coffee for most people is a upper and alcohol is a downer. The heart has to work too hard.

Enjoying it spiked isn't the problem, but if you've gotta spike it to be able to drink it then don't drink kool-aid.

Bailey's + Coffee = heaven. But I can drink coffee without it. :3
