Is it normal to speak to ur ex as a friend?

Im in the exact same situation, and since you still have feelings for your ex, do you think that gives justice to your current bf?
I think not.
what i did, is i started talking less and less to my ex. i realised how great my bf, and realised my ex wasnt worth it. my ex wasnt worth making my bf worried.
My ex and i are still friends, kinda. we just dont really talk anymore, but no we dont hate eachother.
I think that if you still have some feelings for your ex, and that you still talk to him is maybe because you might have some unfinished buissness with him. you might not have completly let him go yet. Wich again does not bring justice to your current bf.

If it bothers him, you should respect his wishes and leave your ex alone. I am in a similar situation, except it is my boyfriend's still-in-love-with-him ex that won't leave him alone. If anyone has advice... which I would love... it is on my profile.

It's because your ex is your past and your past should stay just that. There is no reason to keep contact. It only causes problems and it will ruin your current relationship. So just don't go there.

we have the same situation darlin,and its a tough situation,but the truth is,your ex may ruin your current relationship with your bf now.especially if you stil have that special feeling even if its a "little".its normal yes because you miss the person,but missing him can be a threat to your man now.thats why he hates it.:)

its even running into him he gets insure. which sucks.

lovers becoming friends is rare. that's probably what your current boyfriend knows. if you just happen to run into your ex and talk is one thing, but if you pursue him, then that's what your boyfriend's issue is.
