Is it normal to sound like an anime character when i speak normally?

I will admit it , I sound like exactly like Charlotte dunoise from Infinite Staros when I speak in my normal tone of voice. People think it must be awesome to sound like an anime character but it isnt, it sucks. You get weird looks when you talk or laugh or even yell at someone/something. People always give me a double take because my voice doesnt fit me at all, I'm a measly 5' 5'', some where beteen 104 105 lbs , wear a hoodie nearly 24/7, jeans and converse with a graphic tee. A complete tomboy, never expected that huh? It sucks because at stuff like OniCon I am regularly asked if thats my real voice, or im just faking it.I found out when my friends compared my voice to Charlottes cover of the song Super Stream. Oh my gosh, you can't even imagine how much they flipped out when they found out that I sound like her and that the fact my voice can go as low as Yousie Teikoku when singing the opening theme of mirrai nikki (note. we are all anime fans) The only good thing is that apperently it's cute that i talk like this definetly a plus. So answer below please.

With so many anime characters, fictional characters in general and seiyus out there, someone is bound to sound like one of them.

Although, you being a tomboy doesn't seem unusual, most of my friends that like anime and are female are also pretty tomboyish. The ones that are girly are either inherently girly or trying to be anime sexy but are failing.
