Is it normal to sorta obsess over "foreign"

Okay I'm not sure how to ask this or say it......
But like I guess I could start by saying that I love foreign countries, immigrants, different languages. Ect. Do you think it's normal to to kind of in away to obsess over that type of stuff I mean its not a 100% obsess it just more really really love and respect that's what I want to go to college for is culture understanding and multi-languages.

    Yeah I have a similar passion for all things foreign; languages, cuisine, culture, history, currency, art, music etc. :)

    You're certainly not alone. The diversity of the world is fascinating.

    This is why I chose to study anthropology. I love learning about other people and how they live.

    Me too:D! I can't imagine having an interest in other cultures and languages is anything abnormal. I think they're fascinating, I really love stuff like that as well. It's different to what we're used to, which in itself is pretty exciting. To me, anyway. I think it's really cool.:P
