Is it normal to sometimes feel like an animal?

Sometimes, usually in very stressful situations, I have this strong urge to just literally get on all fours and run away from my problems like a dog. The only thing that is holding my back is that humans weren't meant to run on all fours so I would get anywhere very fast. Alternitavely, when things are tough, I have these intensly vivid daydreams (I'm literally able to block out all external visuals and replace them with my mind's eye) of me just transforming into some kind of carefree animal, getting the heck out of there, and living somewhere in the forrest or jungle or where ever. Is it normal to think like this?

Better still, try looking up therianthropy. There's a whole community of people who identify as animals, and feel the urges and preferences that come with that identity.

I was in detention centers most of my teen years and i always imagined being an ant and crawling outside then turning into a bird and flying away
