Is it normal to sneeze when looking at the sun?

When looking at the sun,I immediately sneeze!It happens all the time!
Is that normal?

    It's called Autosomal Dominant Compelling Helioophthalmic Outburst Syndrome (ACHOO Syndrome, and the "Peroutka Sneeze Gene". It's a hereditary trait that causes sneezing (due to naso-ocular reflex) when suddenly exposed to bright light, possibly many times consecutively. It affects 18-35% of the human population. I do it too!

    I've found if I have a sneeze coming, it helps to look at a bright light to get it out. I think it's something in the squinting that makes you do it.

    Yes! I also have ACHOO syndrome and I sneeze exactly 3 times every time I see a bright light.
