I smoked weed with 4 of the 6 people I work with at work in a car on break. They do it all the time and I know some of my friends smoke before they work too. Is it normal to smoke weed before work?
davesumba is right. I work at a pizza place, and everyone smoked weed. Most of them got fired, but I think it was mostly unrelated. It is frowned upon over cigarettes for work though because of short term memory loss. For some people it's harder to concentrate when high, so that's why employers don't want people smoking weed on break.
I just read an article about a girl accidentely putting a half smoked blunt in someones burger. How baked and or stupid would someone have to be to pull that off? As long as your job does not require you to need to use quick reactive critical thinking and problem solving skills, smoke up. Weed probably helps lower work related violence and shootings in jobs that are drone like. I can't imagine a stoned but disgruntled postal worker going postal.
It all depends but gradually other people find out and it hurts your reputation at work and depending on what you do your performance ....so unless it is a mrijuana farm probably a bad idea...cant you wait til you are done work
When I was working in a bank I was smoking weed before work and on my breaks.
Without it, I wouldn't have been able to go even half the day.
Made everything bearable, and I could just zone out and focus on the task.
As long as it doesn't affect your productivity, and no one important sees or smells you, who gives a fuck?
No, it's not normal. If I were your boss I'd fire you immediately if I knew you'd been smoking weed. You simply can't do your job well enough if you're under the influence.
I don't see the problem with it. If you can smoke weed and do your job then there is no problem.
In my Realm everything is normal. Smoking weed is ok, but I would not it makes me ill.
Well. Sure its normal. If anyone tells you otherwise and they smoke cigarettes! They are hypocrites! Cause cigarettes do more damage than marijuana! And people do smoke before work, even during breaks! So why not weed?! People must stop being hypocrites! People who say its not normal are ignorant! Weed is not a drug, and is not addictive! Cigarettes are highly addictive and cause cancer! Weed is none of that!
