Is it normal to smell the white stuff that comes out of pimples?

So I suffered from acne. Like every teen, well just about every teen. And I used to pick at my face and sometimes squeeze it. And For some reason I used to smell my discoveries. Is it normal??

    i've never popped an acne and not smelled it. i think me and OP are normal. u guys are fucking freaks!

    I do that all the time whem i get zits. i pop them them smell the pus. i too was wondering if it was normal or if anyone else did it. guess i'm not alone.

    The "white stuff" that comes out of pimples is not pus or anything like that. All it simply is, is your white blood cells that have come to fight off the bacteria that got into your pores. I actually just learned about this in my college courses for becoming a medical assistant. Normal, yes, I'm sure just about everyone has done this at some point in their life, it's just curiosity.
