Is it normal to smell the crevice of period panties?

I normally dont like blood but last week my friend stayed over and she had her period and left her blood stained panties in my room. I had to take them downstairs to wash them but curiosity got the best of me and i shoved them up my nose.
IT WAS THE BEST THING I EVER SMELLED!!! (aside from the fact that her poonani smelled a little spoiled)
I never washed them i kept them.
Is that Normal? 0_O

    I'm so glad somebody understands. I told one of my closest friends and she was so disgusted and then we slowly drifted apart. I haven't told anybody ever since that incident.

    Im into smells big time , people dont understand it. I believe some of us are very sensitive to the pheromones of others
    FYI i think its normal
