Is it normal to smell smells that are not there?

I will try to give a few examples:

If I am thinking of something, like my room for example, I can smell what the rooms smells like. I am not just thinking of how it smells, but I can actually smell it as if I am in my room.

If I see a picture of something like paint I can smell the paint like it is actually there in front of me.

The last one which is questionable, is that I can imagine how people smell. This is kind of hard to describe, I can just guess how someone might smell (Ex., sweet, Tangy, doggy, Lemon, Lilac, mildew, mint, moldy, pine, plastic, rose, skunk, and woodsy and stuff like that.)

Is this all in my head or can other people do it too?

I think this is a symptom of a brain tumor.

Look up sinestesia (hope i spelled it right) its where your senses get their wires crossed so to speak. I feel sounds and it took me 20 years to figure out its different but still ''normal''. If you have had this your whole life its probably not a serious issue but you should still go see a neurologist to rule out any other issues
