Is it normal to smell like a pad

Today I got embarrased cuz one of my friends sat next to me and said that something smells like pad. Then she kinda like sniffed me then immediately stop asking the question.

Then later that day another friend came and asked me if I bring pads to school, that she would like one.
I was under the impression that Because I smell like pad she just assumed this.

The reason why i'm worried is because where I come from smelling like a pad makes you weird(i recently got my hygiene under control).

Could It be my soap?
Or my bodywash(I bathe with both)

Please help me! My soap actually overtakes my perfume!
REALLY DONT WANNA SMELL LIKE PADS!

      I didn't think of that but mean girls can be really mean.

      I use essential oils instead of perfume. (Chemicals torture me)I like lavender a lot and I make a body spray (dilute with water)or put it in my hair. Hair holds odors really well and can mask bad smells for much longer and less intrusive then perfume.

    Change your pad 5 times daily and scrub your cha cha.

    If you can, get a small packet of baby wipes and take them with you when you are out, so if you feel like you're becoming stinky down there, you can do a quick clean up.

    Also spritz yourself (not down there) with body spray, it'll hopefully mask over whatever you smell like.

    And finally, as Mimi69 said, change your pad regularly, don't let it linger because that's when you find it will smell.

    In my opinion tampons might be worse considering when a female starts out they might not be completely aware of hygiene teqnics so seein a dirty pad means change it vs them waitin x amount of time to pull out a tampon, but as for the main point it's prob mean girls
