Sometimes I watch gay porn on my machine and jerk myself off then fall asleep. Merry Christmas!
I Do this all the time, I get in bed then listen to music for hours until I feel sleepy by then I'll be too exhausted to get up and place my laptop on my desk.
I do that a lot of the time when I'm living at my parents' house. I have a double bed there and I'm the only one in it, so I figure why not? I actually think it gets me out of bed faster because it means I wake up straight away (I daydream in bed for hours if I have nothing to do), and it prevents me from going straight back to sleep because I've got something to engage me. I can watch YouTube videos until I've dragged myself out of my dizzy daze and into real awake mode, then I'm ready to go. The whole process takes about half an hour, much better than hours of daydreaming.
Fine by me. I have a tendency to sleep with my books. However, if you turn your laptop on while in bed, put a book or something else underneath it. When I got my first laptop, it was during a time where there were many reports of laptops overheating and causing fires as well as various burns on people's legs. I got scolded a lot for putting my laptop on top of the bed without allowing it to have a proper way to ventilate. It would always over heat and make the bed very hot. I'm not sure if this is still a major concern for the more modern models, but there's no harm in playing it safe.
I always hibernate my laptop when I sleep, sometimes I forget and it automatically goes on standby :p
Sometimes I can wake up for a moment and subconsciously see that someone has messaged me on Facebook and then I go back to sleep and dream about what I'm going to type as a reply :p
I used to do this. I made several attempts to get it out of my room because it's wasting so much of my days off going straight on the computer. Since I made a dedicated space for it in my drawer by my bed a week and a half ago...I haven't actually used it haha.
