Is it normal to sleep with your eyes open?

I have a new friend and I am not used to his sleeping habits. I stayed over his house the other night for the first time (nothing happened) and anyhow in the morning I saw him sleeping on the couch. His eyes were open! He was asleep but his eyes were glazed and staring and open. I brought it up to him over breakfast. "No I don't" he said. IIN?

  • You get that way after so many years of the CIA tailing you. They're clever about it too.

So much so that I still don't have a shred of evidence that they're after me.

When my dad was a kid, his cousin had some kind of accident and was catatonic for three weeks during which time he didn't close his eyes at all. The weird thing is, his eyeballs started getting dusty and they had to use a water spray to keep them wet.

My dad still genuinely believes they could have woken him up sooner by using bleach. And this is the cousin he *likes*.

Yeah, funny/strange, like: "This milk smells funny"?

Dappled never really gives himself enough credit. But it is normal, OP. I wish I could sleep with my eyes open.

Did he just say "no I don't" or did he actually say "No I dont, I was just fapping."
    I would think the latter...

It's normal. My brother does that as well my parent say it's because he is the heir and all heirs do that. :/

My boyfriend sleeps with his eyes half open occasionally. It must be hereditary because our son does the same thing.

I'd be freaked out if their eyes were like wide open. I'm not sure if it's normal or not.
