it shows the undesirable attribute of cowardice and the spoiled brat who does not concern his conscience with the bill of electrics.

I have a sleep disorder that sometimes causes severe nightmares. Often I am forced to sleep with the light on. However, there are times I was not afraid to sleep yet had the light on. It may make it easier to get up during the night, although it might interfere with sleep quality. You may also be masking depression as the darkness might subconsciously be making you more depressed so you keep the light on for relief. There is a reason for this. Until you figure out the reason, I suggest christmas lights strung on your bedroom walls. That way it is peaceful yet not too bright.

I hate lights on at sleepytime. No TV either. Just darkness and the blessed whir of my number one fan.
