That is incredibly dangerous. You could receive severe burns or start your bed, and house, on fire.
That's not normal and dangerous. I would try to stop the habit as soon as possible
I used to sleep with a fan on when I was younger, even in winter but when it nearly set my bedroom on fire I realised it had to stop.
Normal? What is normal? Just because YOU don't do it makes it not normal? I have been sleeping with a hair dryer for 30 years and would not even try to sleep without one. I have never had a problem with fire or burns. as long as you take a few precautions like putting the dryer on its side on a pillow next to you not to close you will have no problems.
I'm honest here I use my hair dryer for alot of things. I use it to relax to read to send me to sleep for pain headaches etc it's amazing I love just coming home and sitting down with it on and doing what I have to do while it's on. It's the best thing for not throat punching your husband when he's getting on your nerves 😂😂 I couldn't live without mine.
No. This is very dangerous. You're putting yourself, your family and house in risk of fire.
I so get it. I love to space out beside a space heater, has to be the forced air kind, like your hair dryer. Super close. I can't sleep with it becuase the heat would be too stuffy, but my favorite is having a fan on for the noise. So it might not be normal, or safe, but it's not weird.
I can't remember who it was, but some famous football player said that he always goes to sleep with the vacuum cleaner on because the sound is relaxing.
The white noise is very relaxing, but you can get white noise makers, which will be more energy efficient and won't be dangerous like sleeping with a hairdryer could be.
For safety reasons I would recommend that you stop. As it as already been stated it can cause serious burns to your body and is a major fire hazard (which will lead to more burns, as fire usually does.)
