Im 18 and ive had a blanket sinse i was born. It has always been like a comfort zone when i sleep. I dont sleep "with" it, but its always there. When i sleep out, i bring it with me. 95% of my friends know about it and my boyfriend does too. BTW; im a girl. Is this normal?
I had a friend who carried her baby pillow to college. It was named, "Beater". One day her brother hung Beater from a ceiling light fixture. She went ballistic. I'm sure she still has it.I knew a grown man with kids who still carried his baby blanket. It was named "Bangie". I think you're OK
I'm a teen and I think I'll sleep with my Teddy even when I turn into an adult. I sleep with my Teddy every night, even when on vacations or sleep overs.
I'm like that with my pillow. I can't sleep without it! I won't even lay on my couch without it!
I am 37 and still sleep with a small silky pillow filled with little beanies. Yes I am married and have kids... Been married for 18 years and haven't gone a night without it!
I don't have experience with anything like that personally, but I have no doubt that it's normal to have a certain thing that brings comfort with it.
I have mine-I call it my Woobie...and I am 35!!! It was my grandmothers and I have had it since I was 5 yrs old...
It's normal for people of all ages to have an object that brings them comfort. I know a few people who have things that they won't leave home without.
I'm 14 and I have slept with my baby blanket sense I was born. I also have a stuffed dog I sleep with that I got when I was ten. I bring them on each and every trip and over on sleep overs. I see nothing wrong with it. :)
