Is it normal to sleep so much

You might think that I am "catching up on my sleep" but my sleeping has been crazy. Yesterday i woke up at noon then stayed up for 2 hours and went back to sleep. I am not really tired when I sleep I just lay there and eventually pass out. Any help for this would be cool!

    Sleep whenever you want to. that is what I do. As long as you are getting lots of sleep you will be okay. I like to dream. That is why I sleep so much.

    The way I see it is if you sleep longer than average, you tend to get even more tired. Many recommend that 7hrs or so is a good amount, though I tend to sleep for 12 hours and do the same as you. It may be diet related, no motivation to really do anything (depression in some cases), and is just your comfort zone.

    Exercise (even if it's just a walk in the sun), staying away from junkie foods & caffeine; I find, usually takes me out of this rut. It's not something that can be fixed in a day though, you'll need to stay on-top of it. If all else fails though, I'd see a doctor and get yourself checked for depression.
