I do. I used to sleep with sheets on my bed but I find that the bare mattress is just as comfortable. I toss and turn a lot in my sleep and always kick the sheets off when they are on my bed so I just sleep on a bare mattress and find it very comfortable.
It may be comfortable, but it's not practical. I mean, you can take the sheets off and wash them but you can't wash the mattress.
Fine by me. I used to have a mattress that Hirt like a fat fuck! So, I put a futon on top. Then one day, I got rid of the mattress and now all I sleep on is the futon. It fits well into my bed frame and it is so comfy! I don't put any sheets or covers on it because 1. It would be pointless and 2. The futon is too soft and jiggly for that.
Sounds like you don't really like to do laundry. The sheets that you should use are contoured and fit snug so that they will not come loose. You cannot be clean by sleeping several hours a day on a mattress without sheets. You can have a schedule of once a week to take them off and throw them in the laundry. If you do get married, this is what you will want to do. Just set up a pattern and don't deviate. You will be happy with the results.
No one will want to have sex in a dirty mattress. At least febreze it first.
If your gonna do that, at least Febreeze the matress everyday! And once or twice a week Lysol it.
Well you can make a quick getaway incase theres a fire.

How do you kick the sheets off, aren't they tucked securely around the sides of the bed? Do you mean blankets?
I used to do this all the time, but then I put a cover under the sheets, and it made it far more comfortable.
