Is it normal to sleep in the same bed as a friend?

I'm a chick who has mostly guy friends. Whenever I stay at my one friends house I never sleep on his couch. I sleep in his bed with him. It's become a regular thing. It's completely platonic. But still, is that weird?

I think is normal for some people. I used to do that a lot in college with some of my male friends both gay and straight. I don't believe that sharing a bed with someone always has to be a sexual thing.

He's not gay. We sleep fully clothed.

Well, I don't remember Plato doing it so it's not entirely Platonic but I don't see anything abnormal about it.

Also, I'm not implying I was alive at the same time as Plato. Also, I don't even like plates.

No matter if you are fully clothed, a zipper comes down rather quickly if the urge arises. It will eventually if guys are not gay. Even then, most are bi, so you could be in for more than you want if this continues. Get a blow up bed at Wmart and enjoy your sleep without the constant threat of someone getting sexy. You will rest better, believe us.

If you get undressed and sleep under the covers, I think it's a bit cruel, unless your friend is gay. Put a naked woman in bed next to the most well intentioned guy and sooner or later, an uncomfortable situation might arise.

I would not continue to do this unless you secretly want something to happen. Because unless he's gay it probably will.

I think you have been open honest trusting caring respectful to each other sleeping in the same bed: Platonic friendships are good one's once you stop when you start building a relationship with someone else: sleeping with him then might not be to your advantage:

  • They might get the wrong impression. I would sleep somewhere else until you find out if they know that the friendship is purely platonic.

As long as both of you are single without significant others that might get jealous I see zero wrong nor harm in this.

Or until I tell him I wish I was his girlfriend.
