Is it normal to sleep for 11 hours a night?
I have to sleep for at least 10-11 hours to feel like I have got adequate rest. I am not lazy, I am athletic but feel like I am wasting my life sleeping.

I have the same problem I only feel well rested if I sleep at least 12 hours every night. I prefer to get 16 or 17 hours though. I'm 20 and some nights I go to bed as early as 8. I wish I could feel rested with less hours of sleep.
Get alllllll the sleep you can! When you have children that luxury is goes! forever!
Man I get as much sleep as I can. But my only probably is falling asleep.
Keep training, I wish I could sleep that long, it's more than healthy to sleep more than 8 hours.
But you say you feel like you are wasting your life sleeping so, as Echoes said in the comment above, aren't you over training maybe?
See if you can cut back to 9 hours? 11 does seem like alot... Hey, at least it isn't 15!
