Is it normal to sleep all the time?

This is how my day goes. Get up at three pm and im up until about eight pm. Then I go back to bed and sleep till about eleven pm. Then I make myself stay awake till three am sleep till five forty am. Get up cause my roommate is stomping around anyway getting ready for work. But im back in bed asleep by seven am. I also have a constant headache. At times its really bad and at others its kinda like its there but doesent bug me. Is anyone else like this? Let me know thanks

    I had a illness, i dunno what its called in english but i guess it should sounds like: mononucleosis. It makes you tired all the time, a doctor can detect it in your blood, you should go consult one.

    I am an insomniac, I tend to stay up for days on end the collapse after that interval. In my "sleeping binges" as I call them I tend to sleep for 16-19 hours on end. The only thing is, that I feel more tired after sleeping. So, being able to relate as an abnormal sleeper I have to say that it is important to conform to societies hours of sleep(8 a night) and to try to stop your habits. Maybe the some medicine would work for you, even though it never does for me.

    Yes I think it may be depression. I used to sleep all the time and recently I haven finally just started to get out of it. I used to think it was insomnia but it was just a fucked up sleeping pattern mixed with depression.

    But I must ask, don't you have to pay bills and eat? How can you afford to sleep all day?

    And you probably get headaches because your dehydrated you need to drink water!

    See someone if the sleeping continues because it could be something serious other than depression.

    it sounds like your headache is caused by sleeping too much...perhapse you should go to a doctor because an underlying health problem could be causing you to be so sleepy

    Some experts say that two four-hour sleeps a day is better for us than one eight-hour block. Splitting it up doesn't seem to be working for you, though. Get ear muffs or tell your roommate to be more considerate.
