Don't fuck around with Xanax. It's not a good drug, prescribed properly or not. You'll get through it. It messes with you hard- so it's not surprising you're tired since it's coming out of your system.

Indeed. yeah. especially since s/he stopped cold turkey. pumping tons of that toxic shit through you constantly and then just stopping has got to have some craaaaazzzzyyyyy side effects.

I will personally never do xany again. It made me really selfish and stupid. Enough said.

All I know is that I was lead under the impression that Xanax would make me relax so much that I would be tired. Did you know it had the opposite effect on me? I couldn't get any sleep and couldn't relax!!!! It made me feel do weird.

Well, actually, ideally that's not how it's supposed to be done. Unless you were using it as a recreational, not prescribed drug. It is recommended that you gradually lower the dosage of your Xanax intake until you reach zero.

I wouldn't think completely removing it from your system should make you sleepy, though, since that is one of the main side effects of that anti anxiety medication. But I wouldn't really know, my experience is based on following what my doctor told me to at the time. I hope you feel better soon. Remember that our bodies are always amazingly intelligent when it comes to restoring and adapting to new substances or lack of thereof. Keep your mind strong.
