Is it normal to shiver when feeling extreme emotion?

Whenever I feel really sad, happy, excited or I'm just full of anticipation I'll get random bursts of shivers going down my spine and shoulders. Is this normal?

    I do that all the time! Everyone looks at me like I'm weird!

    I shake when I'm uncomfortable or when I'm really really angry.

    whenever I think of something gross or scary I have shivers. It also happens to me when I think of nice stuff or when I listen to my favourite songs.

    Once I was really depressed at work about six years ago and my boss at the time saw me crying and he confessed to me that he had had a crush on me for a couple of years. We went out on two dates and when we kissed it was like that; shivers and über passionate. We never slept together but I still have a huge soft spot for him!

      The weird thing is though, it never happens to me when I'm uncomfortable or nervous, usually it happens when I'm happy! xD
